Skanska is part way through constructing this new, acute general hospital for the Derby Hospitals NHS Trust that has a construction value of £333million.
The new hospital will provide 1,159 beds and 128,000 sq m of new hospital buildings, including 35 operating theatres, 29800 sq m of existing hospital buildings are being refurbished to enable the services from both the Derby General Hospital and Derby Royal Infirmary to be consolidated on to a single site.
When fully complete the project will include over 550 Visicom units all installed in a range of doorset applications from NFR, FD30, FD60 and X-Ray protected.
